Monarchs in the Classroom and Science Education Standards

With the help of an incredible goup of teachers from throughout the US, we have indexed our curriculum to the education standards of several states, and to National Science Education Standards. A list of these indices follows. If your state or grade level isn’t on the list, and you’d like to match your standards with our curriculum, please contact us oberh001@tc.umn.edu.

Monarchs in the Classroom lessons are listed next to Standards that they address (K-2 lessons with primary content standards, 3-6 lessons with intermediate content standards, and Middle School lessons with middle-level content standards). Sections for the lessons are abbreviated as follows: Life Cycle (LC), Migration (MG), Ecology (EC), Systematics (SY), Experiments (EX), and Conservation (CS).
