Monarch Biology and Conservation Meeting: Minnesota 2012

Lodging

We recommend lodging at the Country Inn & Suites Chanhassen, where we have reserved a room block, negotiated discounted lodging rates (enter the special promotion code MONARC), and will have a shuttle running to and from the conference location. This hotel is just a few minutes west of the Arboretum in downtown Chanhassen, Minnesota. Breakfast is included with your room, as are high speed internet, a fitness center, and other amenities. Rooms rates range from $99 for a room with two queen beds, $109 for a king suite with a pullout couch, and $119 for a king suite with a kitchenette or whirlpool. If you would like to stay in the reserved meeting lodging, you will need to register on your own. We encourage you to share a room, since a limited number of rooms are available. If you would like us to help you find a roommate, please contact Grant Bowers with the following information. He will let you know as soon as a suitable roommate is found, and you can register (or you can take a chance and register alone, letting us know that you have a space available):

  • Your name
  • Gender
  • Any other considerations (snoring, preference for quiet at night, early-riser, night-owl, etc.)
  • Have you already registered for a room at the Country Inn and Suites?

Should the Country Inn & Suites book fully, we will add other meeting hotels and arrange for shuttle service between them and the Arboretum.
